For the previous 27 years, Eamonn had worked in a variety of different senior commercial roles in the UK and Ireland in the Financial Services sector. Eamonn hold a First Class Honours MBA from the Smurfit School of Business UCD and is a Qualified Financial Adviser. Eamonn founded StepChange for a number of reasons. First and foremost it was to finally bring to fruition a long-held desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment. He also decided to act on some key differentiators in each of his solutions areas; Commercial Solutions for Financial Services Organisations Over the years, Eamonn dealt with a wide range of business consultants in fields such as Strategy, Marketing and Sales. While they were usually very talented people in their field, their lack of knowledge of the Financial Services world always frustrated him, sometimes drove him mad!
